2022 Avant Prov Workshop Leaders and Section Captains

Petrea Whittier is a New York City based actor with over 10 years of professional experience.  She made her return to acting post-pandemic this last summer at the Sterling Renaissance Festival, where she could be found as the village potion woman, prescribing herbal remedies to unsuspecting patrons.  Prior to that, she was a member of the 2020 MFA cohort at the George Washington University, where she received her Master’s in classical acting.  Petrea has extensive training in mask, having spent three months in Italy studying commedia in 2012.  She could also be found participating in contact improv throughout NYC before 2020, and looks forward to coming back to improvised dance in 2022.  Petrea is beyond excited to be returning to the strange world of devised theatre with Amnesia Wars as movement captain.

Rodney has been involved with Køvvånng performance pieces since 2017 and Amnesia Wars’ preceding hybrid workshops since 2014. In addition to multiple Amnesia Wars improv productions, he’s acted in AW’s plays and musicals Keanu Reeves Saves the Universe, Yahweh’s Follies, Sundays @ The Parkside, and 101 Reasons to Thank Your God for Donald J. Trump, Vladimir J. Putin, and My Dad, Who’s a Dick. “Rumble” is one half of the hip-hop comedy duo Squirm and Germ, who has performed at The Apollo and the San Francisco, Austin and Charleston Comedy Festivals.  He has DJ’d house parties, corporate holiday parties and online. He’s studied improv at Second City Training Center NY, The Magnet Theater and acting at T. Schreibe
